CAS 94-36-0
Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste Wholesale

Product Overview: CAS 94-36-0 (Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste) is a high-stability polymerization initiator and curing agent. As a leading BPO Paste manufacturer, Suze provides multiple concentrations (typically 50%) stabilized with plasticizers to ensure safe handling and optimal dispersion in unsaturated polyester resins and silicone rubber.

Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste Characteristics CAS 94-36-0

Dibenzoyl peroxide paste is a strong oxidant and easily burns. The nature is extremely unstable, friction, impact, bright light, high temperature, sulfur and reducing agent, etc., all have the risk of ignition and explosion, adding sulfuric acid can also lead to combustion. In order to prevent explosion, insoluble salts such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, calcium sulfate or talcum powder and soapy soil are generally used when diluted to about 20%. Or storage should be infused with 25-30% water.

Why Technical Stability Matters for BPO Paste: Unlike BPO powder, our Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste 50% is phlegmatized with high-quality plasticizers and water to significantly reduce friction sensitivity.

Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT): Our BPO paste maintains an SADT of 50℃. To ensure chemical stability, we recommend a storage temperature below 30℃ in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and reducing agents.

Curing Characteristics: Designed for the rapid curing of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature, often used in conjunction with amine accelerators.

Quality Control of Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste Hardener CAS 94-36-0

Ensuring the quality of dibenzoyl peroxide paste hardener is crucial for the manufacturing of high-quality products. Factors such as storage conditions, temperature, and concentration levels can affect the quality of the hardener, and need to be strictly monitored. Suze pays close attention to the quality control and follows the most strict process to ensure our hardener dibenzoyl peroxide paste quality.

Frequently Asked Questions about Dibenzoyl Peroxide (BPO) Paste

What is the standard shelf life of Suze's BPO paste?

When stored in its original, unopened packaging at temperatures below 25°C (77°F), our BPO paste has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacture. To maintain chemical stability, avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources.

Can you provide customized concentrations or formulations for BPO paste?

Yes. While 50% concentration is our standard specification, Suze Chemical can customize the formulation, active oxygen content, and plasticizer types to match your specific resin system requirements (e.g., unsaturated polyester resins or silicone rubber curing).

How do you ensure the safety of BPO paste during long-distance transportation?

We stabilize our Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste with a precise balance of water and phlegmatizers (insoluble salts) to raise the SADT (Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature) to a safe level. All shipments comply with international maritime dangerous goods (IMDG) standards, using UN-certified pressure-relief packaging.

Is your BPO paste compatible with all types of hardeners and resins?

Our BPO paste is primarily designed as an initiator for polystyrene, polyacrylic acid, and a curing agent for unsaturated resins and silicone rubber. We recommend a small-scale compatibility test with your specific amine accelerators before bulk application.

Do you provide MSDS and COA for CAS No. 94-36-0?

Absolutely. We provide a full Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch of Dibenzoyl Peroxide Paste. These documents include detailed technical specifications, hazard identifications, and emergency handling procedures.
